Clarion moves into PFN Class A Top 10

With a 3-0 start that has seen it outscore opponents 198-26, the Clarion football team has moved into the Top 10 of the Pennsylvania Football News Class A state-wide rankings.

The Bobcats, coming off a 62-19 win over Keystone Friday, had been an honorable mention pick the first two weeks before moving into the rankings at No. 10 Sunday.

Clarion is the lone District 9 team in any of the four classifications Top 10, although three other District 9 teams are PFN Honorable Mention this week including Clearfield (3-0) in Class AAA, Karns City (2-1) in Class AA and Brockway (3-0) in Class A.

The PFN state-wide rankings are released every Sunday and can be found at www.pafootballnews.com.
